Peterhead defender Ross Smith has become the latest player to commit to the club’s League 1 campaign next season.
The former Dundee United player, who enjoyed two loan spells at Balmoor, rejoined the Blue Toon for a third spell in January after leaving Stenhousemuir and has agreed to extend his stay at the club for another year after helping Jim McInally’s side win the League 2 championship.
Smith joins goalkeeper Paul Jarvie, defenders Graeme Sharp, Scott Ross and Ryan Strachan, and midfielders Jamie Redman, Bryan Gilfillan, Andy Rodgers, Jordon Brown, Fraser McLaren, Steven Noble, Dean Richardson and Ryan McCann in agreeing to stay at Balmoor for next season.
Both leading goalscorer Rory McAllister and goalkeeper Graeme Smith are already signed up for next year and McInally expects midfielder Dean Cowie and defender David Cox both to agree terms this week.
