Jack Leitch has followed Scott Brown in committing his future to Peterhead.
The former Motherwell youngster had been assessing his options over the summer, with reported interest from Dunfermline, but has opted to rejoin Jim McInally’s side in League 1 on a one-year deal.
He and Brown were a crucial part in the Blue Toon’s League 2 title win last season. Brown had also spoken to Dunfermline about a potential full-time move but after a breakdown in talks, told McInally he would return to Balmoor for another season.
Aidan Smith has also finalised his move from Annan Athletic after compensation was agreed between the two clubs. His Galabank team-mate Scott Hooper had already made the move to Peterhead during the off-season.
McInally has been able to retain the bulk of his squad for this season, with only Callum Home (released) and Paul Willis (Stirling Albion) departing.
