Peterhead have confirmed that long serving full back Graeme Sharp is to leave the club after this weekend’s match with Ayr United.
Sharp joined the club in June 2005 and is now enjoying his testimonial season, however, he is now moving to Greece due to work commitments.
Sharp joined the club as a 21-year-old flying left winger, however, in recent seasons he has been converted to a right back where he has proven himself to be equally reliable.
After clocking up almost 300 appearances for the Balmoor club, Sharpe was treated to a testimonial match against Fraserburgh during the summer with the Blue Toon winning 2-0 and Sharp himself setting up both goals from his right back berth.
