Former Celtic, Dundee United and Falkirk midfielder Mark Millar looks set to leave Peterhead when his short-term deal expires on January 7.
The 26-year-old former Scotland under-21 player is believed to be keen on a return to full-time football after just 11 appearances for the Balmoor side.
Peterhead manager Jim McInally said: “I have had a chat with Mark and it looks like his time here will come to an end after this weekend’s game against Dunfermline.”
Millar spent pre-season with St Johnstone but headed for Peterhead when no deal was forthcoming and McInally said: “Mark wants to have another crack at full-time football, so we will need to start making plans for a replacement.”
Queen of the South midfielder Mark Kerr has left the club in the aftermath of a disagreement with the management team of James Fowler and Jim Thomson.
The 32-year-old joined the Doonhamers from Partick Thistle just less than a year ago however the former Falkirk, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Dunfermline and Dundee player has now left by mutual consent following a disagreement in the aftermath of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Alloa.
Kerr is believed to have been angered by his late substitution.
