Blue Toon goal hero Rory McAllister could be set for a long-awaited opportunity at full-time level after being granted permission to speak to Dundee United.
The 29-year-old former Inverness Caley Thistle and Brechin City striker has been a star at Balmoor for the past five years, scoring over 125 goals.
But McAllister, who also works as a plumber, has been greenlit for discussions with the Tannadice club after the Balmoor club said they would not stand in his way.
A transfer fee has yet to be agreed but Ray McKinnon is understood to be keen to add to his striking options.
