Rangers midfielder Joey Barton looks set to miss this weekend’s visit of Ross County following a training ground row.
The 34-year-old, who joined the Gers from Burnley in the summer, is understood to have been involved in a training ground bust-up with teammates and coaching staff.
The midfielder’s Rangers career now hangs in the balance and he has been told not to report back to the club until Monday.
The incident follows the Ibrox club’s 5-1 defeat by rivals Celtic with Barton criticised for a poor performance.
