Ross County have signed youngsters Max Ashmore, Kyle Johnson and Nathan Turner on one-year contracts.
Midfielder Ashmore, 19, has joined following his release by Rangers, where he captained the Ibrox club’s under-20s team.
Former Falkirk defender Johnson, 19, and former Bury attacker Turner, 18, have signed after being released by their clubs.
All three will start with Stuart Kettlewell’s under-20s side, which won the Development League last season.
Kettlewell has set them the challenge of catching manager Jim McIntyre’s eye and said: “They are under no illusions. It’s a second chance for them after they’ve been released.
“We’ve given them another chance and we’ve had great success, with Dylan Dykes, Reghan Tumilty and Blair Malcolm who have really stepped up and risen to every challenge we have set them.
“These players know it’s the same and they know they’ve got to hit the ground running to impress the manager and show they can compete at senior level. It was great winning the league last year, but we want to try to get as many players from our setup in to the first team, which is an exceptionally difficult task with the standard of players we’ve got at the club.
“That’s the challenge and the players have shown they have a good appetite for it.”
