Ross County have been issued with a notice of complaint by the Scottish FA for their players’ collective part in a melee towards the end of Saturday’s 3-2 Premiership loss at Hamilton Accies.
Both clubs have been charged due to three or more players, or members of team staff, being involved in the confrontation.
The incident saw Accies defender Ioannis Skondras receive an individual charge of excessive misconduct, with the Greek right back sent off by referee Gavin Duncan for his part in the altercation with Staggies players, including Kenny van der Weg and Christopher Routis.
Both clubs, and Skondras, have until December 28 to respond to the charge, with a date of January 11 set for the hearings.
