Ross County have confirmed the signing of Caley Thistle midfielder Iain Vigurs on a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old, who was out of contract, spent four years at the Dingwall club from 2009 to 2013 and was part of the Staggies side that won promotion to the top flight in 2012.
Co-manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “We are delighted to get Iain signed.
“Myself and Steven (Ferguson) are well aware of his qualities and, having watched him numerous times in the Championship last season, we believe we have signed the best midfielder in the division.
“It’s a huge coup for the club to get Iain’s signature.
“He was in demand and we fought off competition from a number of clubs in Scotland and further afield.
“But we know exactly what Iain will bring to the table at Ross County.
“He is a great character, knows the culture of this football club and knows the standards myself and Steven will expect.
“Most importantly, he is great player who is vastly experienced and you know what you will get from him on the field week in, week out.”
