Ross County defender Jason Naismith has completed his move to Peterborough United.
The Staggies have confirmed the 23-year-old has joined the English League One side on a three-year deal for an undisclosed sum.
Aberdeen and Sunderland had both tabled bids for the right back but Posh were granted permission to speak to the player after making a bid, believed to be £250,000.
Peterborough assistant manager Paul Raynor said: “We are delighted. This is a big one for us and we have all worked hard to get Jason into the football club.
“He is a much sought after, everyone can see that he has been linked with a lot of clubs in the newspapers and everyone can see the calibre of club that have been interested.”
