Ross County eased through to the quarter-finals of the Irn-Bru Cup with a comfortable 3-1 win against Montrose in Dingwall.
Davis Keillor-Dunn scored twice after Ross Stewart had opened the scoring for the home side in what was a one-sided 90 minutes in the Highlands.
County rested several first team regulars for the cup-tie but they were still too strong for the League 2 champions at Victoria Park.
The Staggies took just 20 minutes to make the breakthrough and it was Ross Stewart who got the goal, running on to a Don Cowie through ball before firing the ball low under Montrose goalkeeper Allan Fleming.
The Staggies kept the pressure on the visitors and Stewart and Cowie saw efforts saved by Fleming but there was nothing the goalkeeper could do to prevent his side going 2-0 down before the break as Davis Keillor-Dunn beat him from close range after seeing his initial shot blocked by a Montrose defender.
However, the Staggies failed to reach the interval with their two-goal advantage intact as Craig Johnston prodded the ball past Scott Fox for Montrose on the stroke of half-time.
The home side wasted little time in restoring their two-goal advantage and Keillor-Dunn made it 3-1 at the start of the second half when he drilled the ball into the corner of the net.
