Ross County have signed young Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge since the age of eight, and helped the Blues win the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League during the 2015-16 season.
Englishman Baxter, who is 6ft 3in, has spent the last two seasons out on loan, making 46 appearances for National League side Woking in 2017-18 before making 38 outings for League 2 outfit Yeovil Town last term.
Baxter will now compete with fellow new signing Ross Laidlaw for the number one jersey at Victoria Park following the departure of Scott Fox, with Staggies youngster Ross Munro expected to be farmed out on loan.
County co-manager Steven Ferguson said: “I am delighted that we have secured a contract with Nathan and he obviously is coming from a background which will allow us to use his skills and experience developed at Chelsea.”
