Ross County are close to finalising a deal for Hibernian striker Oli Shaw.
Staggies co-managers Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell made an approach for the Scotland under-21 international earlier this month and are now reportedly close to securing the striker despite competition from Livingston and St Mirren after tabling a six-figure bid for the forward.
Hibs are open to letting Shaw leave Easter Road but the striker has said if he is to depart this month he would prefer a permanent move.
That has prompted Ferguson and Kettlewell to steal a march on Livi and Saints for the 21 year-old whose arrival at Victoria Park will likely clear the way for Staggies attacker Brian Graham to join Partick Thistle.
