Ross County trio Tom Grivosti, Joe Chalmers and Ross Draper remain sidelined with injuries carried over from the tail end of last season.
The Staggies returned to socially distanced training on June 11, with Scottish Premiership clubs still awaiting a date to start contact training.
County have resumed training in small groups so far, however, Grivosti (foot), Chalmers (ankle) and Draper (knee) have yet to join the full sessions.
Staggies manager Stuart Kettlewell is hopeful all three will return in the near future.
Kettlewell said: “The one negative we’ve had is the three who still aren’t training with the group.
“Tom is the one who is probably furthest behind. There was a bit of infection in the wound from his operation.
“It’s difficult to manage these situations, as we have not been able to be hands on.
“Ross and Joe have made real good progress in the last two weeks since we’ve been back. The physio has been working with them on a continuous basis.
“As we have mapped it out Ross would be the first one we hope to get back into group sessions, followed by Joe hopefully not too long after that.
“As much as we think time is a healer, sometimes you need that extra part of pre-season just to help you along the way.
“I’m very hopeful we will get them back some time soon.”
County players and staff have undertaken three rounds of coronavirus testing so far, with Kettlewell confirming there have been no positive results so far.
Kettlewell added: “There are teething issues, but the efficiency of time and the process has become better already in the three tests we have had.
“It’s not pleasant, nobody is going to be skipping in to get it done – but we all know to get on to the pitch and get into full contact it’s a requirement.
“We will continue to meet that requirement until it’s no longer there.”
