Ross County were left raging after Premiership rivals Hibernian called off a behind closed doors bounce game with just over an hour to go until kick-off on Saturday.
The Staggies had been due to face Jack Ross’ side at the Edinburgh outfit’s training ground in East Lothian, with the majority of County’s players and staff having already reached Perth by the time the game was called off.
County’s team bus had been forced to wait for over an hour after Hibs alerted them that Covid-19 test samples had not been returned in time, before the game was eventually called off.
County manager Stuart Kettlewell and his coaching staff are believed to be furious by the way the situation was dealt with by the Easter Road outfit.
A source close to the club said: “I believe Stuart Kettlewell was absolutely fizzing mad, which is understandable.
“To take the squad down the road on a wasted trip like that was disruptive and very frustrating for everybody.”
