Ross County have completed the 12-month loan signing of Celtic goalkeeper Ross Doohan in time for Monday’s Premiership opener against Motherwell.
The Staggies have been tracking Doohan for several weeks, however were unable to complete a deal until Celtic brought in a goalkeeper following the loss of Fraser Forster and Craig Gordon.
The arrival of Vasilis Barkas to Parkhead earlier this week paved the way for the 22-year-old to make the move to Dingwall however, with a deal being finalised yesterday.
Doohan has spent the last two seasons on loan at Championship side Ayr United, breaking into the Scotland under-21 squad, but will now have the opportunity to play in the top flight.
