Ross County return to Stranraer tonight almost a year to the day since their painful League Cup exit at Stair Park.
The Staggies suffered a shock 3-2 defeat in the second round of the competition last season and will be looking to avoid a similar result when they meet again in the same stage this evening.
The Dingwall side go into the match on the back of four successive Scottish Premiership defeats and manager Derek Adams has vowed to field his strongest side possible to ensure they progress to the third round.
County have some unnamed injury doubts for the match, while Tim Dreesan (back) and Steven Saunders (ankle) are both set to miss out.
Manager Derek Adams said: “We know it is going to be a tough game and what it’s going to be like when we get there but we go there in a positive frame of mind after a good performance against Dundee United.
“We will have to look at the injury situation but we will be going with the strongest available team to win the match.”
Stranraer, meanwhile, welcome back goalkeeper David Mitchell and Barry Russell from suspension but Steven Bell misses out with an ankle injury.
