Ross County caretaker manager Stevie Ferguson has added three new players to the squad before the closure of the transfer window with Michael Gardyne, Darren Barr and Jackson Irvine all joining the club.
Former County midfielder Gardyne is on his way back to Dingwall after joining the Staggies on loan from Dundee United until January 19.
The 28-year-old ended a four year spell with County in 2012 when he left Victoria Park for Tannadice, having played his part in the club’s First Division title success.
He has struggled to hold down a regular place at United, however, and spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock.
United caretaker manager Ferguson, who was placed in charge of the team following Derek Adams’ dismissal on Thursday, also added former Hearts and Kilmarnock defender Darren Barr on a one year deal.
Celtic midfielder Irvine, 21, rounded off a good day’s work for the club when he joined his former Killie team-mates in making the move north on a season long loan deal from the champions.
The Australian defensive midfielder, who can also play in defence, was on loan at Rugby Park last season along with Barr and Gardyne.
