Ross County look set to be without defender Scott Boyd for tomorrow’s League Cup match against Hibernian.
The Staggies remain at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership after seven successive defeats and will be aiming for a morale-boosting victory against the Championship side.
But the Victoria Park men are likely to be without Boyd who was injured towards the end of Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Aberdeen.
Manager Jim McIntyre said: “Scott got a dead leg – it was a sore one and he will probably struggle to be available for Tuesday night.
“Hibs will be a difficult match for us.
“They have good players but we are the home team and the Scottish Premiership team so this is a chance to get a win under our belts and that is all you can ask for.”
