The Jordans rescued the Staggies for a monumental three points in Dingwall as two of the goals came from the two most unlikely sources in Jordan Tillson and George Harmon.
Three points and revenge against the Paisley side is a real tide turner for County’s season.
Not only does it lift Malky’s men away from the foot of the table, but it is a crucial victory before two tough away fixtures to Easter Road and Celtic Park before the World Cup.
Jordan White, who has received a hefty amount of criticism from County fans, not only this season but during his entire spell with the club, smashed home his second goal in two games.
White has been aided by a slight change in style of play which includes more crosses into the box and fewer long balls in which County’s number 26 was forced to try to deal with aerially.
After 91 appearances in a County shirt, Jordan Tillson did what some fans thought was becoming an impossible task and scored his first ever goal since arriving in the Highlands.
Tillson is everything you could ask for
‘Tilly’ is far from a flashy player who catches the eye, but he epitomises everything you could want.
He always gives 110% and has given so much to County in his near three seasons wearing the Staggie blue.
The two Jordans, White and Tillson, were two of very few players to survive the Malky revolution.
They are both players who tend to go under the radar, with White doing the dirty work at the top end of the pitch with hold up play, whilst selflessly dropping deep for the winger’s benefit.
White hasn’t been the most prolific since signing from Motherwell, which will always lead to calls for a ‘better’ striker, however this alteration of the system could potentially see White start grabbing more goals.
Tillson, who always puts in the hard yards in midfield, is starting to become a fans’ favourite as his work off the ball is being appreciated more and more.
For him to grab his first goal in front of the home support was truly a moment to remember, even if it did take a deflection for the ball to cross the line.
