Former Go Ahead Eagles attacker Alex Schalk will spend this week on trial at Ross County.
The 23 year-old forward is a free agent after having his contract cancelled by the Dutch club and has been offered the chance to train with Jim McIntyre’s squad until Friday.
Schalk is also attracting interest from clubs in Germany, Poland and Switzerland but the former NAC Breda and PSV Eindhoven attacker is ready to try his luck in Scotland with the Staggies.
Schalk, who has four under-21 caps for the Netherlands, has played predominantly as a winger in the last two years at Go Ahead but played previously in attack with Breda.
