Ross County manager Jim McIntyre says he is not planning drastic changes to his squad in next month’s transfer window.
McIntyre has been active in both transfer windows he has overseen since his arrival at Victoria Park last September.
The former Queen of the South manager made six additions in January before undertaking a drastic overhaul of his squad in the summer by signing another 14 players.
Despite the Staggies sitting fifth in the Premiership, their recent form has been poor, with Saturday’s 1-0 loss against Partick Thistle consigning them to a fifth defeat in their last seven league matches.
The poor run is worrying for the Staggies manager and, while McIntyre is not ruling out further additions in the new year, he insists he is content with his squad.
He said: “We’ll certainly not be looking to make wholesale changes. We’re really pleased with the squad we have.
“If the right person becomes available then we would look at it but it certainly won’t be the type of changes that have happened in the last few transfer windows here.
“We’ve got a stability about the team that we like and we’ve got good players so there is no need to change.
“If we were bringing someone in, they would need to be better than what we’ve got, to try and enhance whatever that position may be.
“I think the players have had a good first half to the season but there is room for improvement.”
McIntyre has been boosted by the return of attacker Brian Graham to training, with the former Dundee United and St Johnstone forward having been sidelined for more than a month with a groin injury.
Graham could come into contention for Saturday’s home fixture against Dundee and McIntyre added: “Brian joined in training last week. The Partick game was a wee bit too soon for him, but having him back on the training ground is good news.”
