Scotland fans have been warned to ignore an email scam sent from the Supporters Club official account.
The email, which is designed to look like a genuine communication and was sent out from the supporter’s club account, has been confirmed as a fake by the organisation.
The message tells the recipient they owe £170 and offers a link to a site to pay the outstanding bill.
The message is signed off from the ‘Accounts Department’ of the Scotland Supporters Club.
It is not clear how the breach occurred, or the number of fans affected, but the organisation have advised fans not to click the link ensure you have strong, varied passwords applied.
