Scotland secured their spot in the UEFA Nations League Semi-finals thanks to a James Forrest hat-trick.
Victory over the Israelis ensured Scotland won Nations League Group C1 and in the process, earn a play-offs spot for the Euro 2020.
Celtic winger Forrest continued his electric form, following his brace against Albania with a treble last night.
Smiles all round
James Forrest (centre) celebrates his goal to make it 3-1 with Ryan Fraser (left) and Ryan Christie.
Shot stopper
Allan McGregor was between the posts pulling off a few aerobatic saves, this one to deny Israel’s Tomer Hemed.
It was a different story the other end of the pitch as Hapoel Be’er Sheva and Israel keeper Ariel Harush couldn’t stop James Forrest from tucking the ball home to make it 3-1.
Wouldn’t be long getting frost bit
Both teams were feeling the freeze inside Hampden huddling under blankets on the bench.
Celebrations all round
Topping the group means that – even if Scotland fail to finish in the top two qualification places in Euro 2020 qualifying, which commences in March – they are guaranteed a spot in the play-off round in March 2020.
