Livingston captain Jason Talbot has accepted a two match suspension for his horror challenge on Hearts midfielder Sam Nicholson.
The challenge, in Saturday’s Championship match, was only punished with a yellow card, however, the SFA served Talbot with a notice of complaint, offering him a two game ban which he has now accepted.
Livingston issued a statement on their website which read: “We also confirm Jason personally apologised to Sam Nicholson following the game and hope this now brings the issue to a conclusion.”
The Livi captain was sent off for a similar challenge on then Dumbarton right back Paul McGinn.
