Cove Youth United FC hit seven without reply against Huntly FC

Cove Youth United FC defeated the visiting Huntly FC 7-0 in the U18 A on Saturday.

Kevan Blues, the Cove Youth United manager, said: “Far from our best today, albeit in very difficult conditions, but another three points keep us going.

“Credit to Huntly, who kept going right until the end.”

Huntly FC’s coach David Liston said: “A hard game against a good team in terrible conditions.

“The team fought hard for the entire game and played some great football but, sadly, couldn’t break down a solid Cove team.”

Cove Youth United FC have 23 goals in total. They have scored 16 goals at home and seven goals away in the U18 A.

Huntly FC have scored 8 goals in this campaign. Away from home they have scored six goals and two goals on home ground.
