Stonehaven YFC United and Deveronvale share the points in 10-goal thriller

The home team Stonehaven YFC United and the visiting Deveronvale claimed a point each with a high-scoring 5-5 draw in the U16 B game on Saturday.
Deveronvale manager Duncan Watt said: “A disappointing draw in the end with Stonehaven equalising with the last kick.
“A classic game of two halves, we were poor in the first half. However, the attitude and determination to mount a comeback is a credit to the boys.”
Stonehaven YFC United have two wins, two draws and one loss with a goal difference of 12 goals for and 9 against over the last five games, while Deveronvale have one draw and four losses and a goal difference of 7 goals for and 21 against.
The result means Stonehaven YFC United stay in sixth place and Deveronvale are in seventh.
The last meeting between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with Deveronvale at home in September 2022.
Stonehaven YFC United have 12 goals in total. They have scored 11 goals at home and one goal away in the U16 B.
Deveronvale have scored 10 goals in this campaign. Away from home they have scored seven goals and three goals on home ground.
Elsewhere in the U16 B Blackburn BC drew 1-1 against Ellon Meadows.
