Caberfeidh full back Ryan Simmonds has sustained a knee problem which will keep him out for a month, starting with tomorrow’s home National Division game with Fort William.
Manager Jodi Gorski, whose players have drawn their opening fixtures, said: “Ryan’s absence will be a big blow. Scott MacLachlan or fit-again Gavin Macdonald will fill his place. We’ve been playing well and I’m delighted with the way former Lovat man Kevin Bartlett is settling in.”
Neil Mackenzie is available for Cabers after serving a two-game suspension held over from last season.
Table-toppers Fort William, who have started with two wins, welcome back Bryan Simpson, who missed both games due to a charity marathon for the hospital where a family member was a patient.
Unbeaten Skye have Steve Morrison fit for their trip to face Oban Celtic, beaten 2-1 by Fort in their only game so far.
Inverness, who have yet to pick up a point, have signed former Skye goalkeeper Ian Munro but Willie MacKinnon has suffered a broken finger and misses their match with undefeated Inveraray.
New boys Strathglass have produced a couple of good performances, with Josh Fraser hitting three goals, and they visit Beauly in a derby duel. The home side is still without the experienced Barrie Macdonald, working his way back from injury.
