The Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open will both return to the Renaissance Club for a second successive season next year.
Scotland’s national men’s open, which is part of the Rolex Series, will be played from July 9-12 next year, with the women’s event following on the same course between August 13-16.
The return to the East Lothian venue follows a successful maiden year at the 11-year old course earlier this summer, with the men’s event attracting 66,000 spectators to set a new record since 2011, when the tournament started being held across Scotland following a 16-year spell at Loch Lomond.
The Ladies Scottish Open has also become established as a key event in the schedules of many of the world’s best female golfers and will be played the week before the AIG Women’s British Open.
