Aberdeen golfer David Law will play in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open this week after receiving a call-up from the European Tour to play at Royal Aberdeen.
The Challenge Tour player, who represents the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, will be joined in the field by Peterhead born Jamie McLeary, who secured his place in the Open by winning the final qualifier in Glasgow last week.
Law has been in good form as of late after winning the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Northern Open for a second time at Murcar Links last month.
The 23-year-old, who won the tournament as an amateur in 2011 and finished second in the past two years to Banchory’s James Byrne, won the event by three shots.
