JogScotland’s Bridge of Don group are celebrating after 14 members completed marathons across the globe in 2022.
Runners crossed the line in London, Edinburgh, Brighton, Manchester, Amsterdam, Venice and Chicago, representing the club.
JogScotland has more than 300 clubs across the country and caters for all kinds of runners, from novices to those looking to complete marathons.
Some of the Bridge of Don members completed more than one marathon this year as they conquered a variety of long-distance routes.
“It is fantastic to see so many of our runners taking on the ultimate challenge of running the marathon and this is such an inspiration for all of our other members,” said club chairperson Jacqui Tuckwell. “We are a very supportive group and believe in helping anyone achieve their goals, whether that is to run a 5km or to do a marathon.
“We would encourage anyone wanting to try running to come along. They can find our more information and how to contact us on our Facebook page.
“It does not have to be about running a marathon, any runner of any ability is welcome to join our group.”
The group is volunteer-run and meets twice-weekly, at Bridge of Don Country Club on Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm.
