Stephen Gallacher has withdrawn from the BMW PGA Championship due to injury. The Press and Journal columnist, who had missed the pro-am on Wednesday, had a cortisone injection to help ease the tendonitis. Gallacher finished tied fifth at Wentworth last year and had been due to partner Ryder Cup teammate Lee Westwood and Tommy Fleetwood. He was replaced by 32-year-old Englishman Robert Dinwiddie, who was six over par after 15 holes.
