Aberdeen Sports Village will host the second of three national basketball challenge events this weekend.
The action in the Cashback National Challenge under-14 tournament takes place between 9am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Alford Basketball Club will compete with St Mirren, Highland Bears, Falkirk Fury, Menzieshill Madsons, Perth Phoenix, Stirling Knights and Glasgow Rocks in the boys’ half of the event on Saturday
On Sunday, the girls’ tournament will feature two groups of four teams made up of Portlethen Panthers, St Mirren, Lady Rocks, Stirling West Lothian, East Lothian Dragons, City of Edinburgh Kats, Tayside Musketeers and Highland Bears. The first event for under-12s took place at Paisley last weekend while the under-10s will have their opportunity in Stirling on June 7.
