The sporting eyes of the world will be focused on Dusseldorf this evening as Wladimir Klitschko takes on Tyson Fury in a world heavyweight title fight
This afternoon the bout was thrown into doubt over a dispute regarding the ring canvas, with Fury insisting it was too soft, however that has been resolved and the WBA, WBO and IBF title fight will go ahead as planned.

Where is the fight taking place?
The fight will be held at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The stadium, which holds 54,000 people, regularly hosts Klitschko fights and also plays home to Fortuna Dusseldorf matches in the German second tier.
Where can I watch it?
In the UK, the fight will be shown live on Sky Box Office.
The fight will cost you £16.95 and you can order it via the Sky website or your Sky remote control.
What time does the action start?
The undercard begins at around 7pm British time.
The undercard comprises of
- Jono Carroll v Miguel Gonzalez
- David Graf v Anton Pinchuk
- Robert Tlatlik v Said Rahimi
- Samy Musa v Jay Spencer
- Patrick Korte v Moises Distino
- Dominik Tietz v Javad Sadeghi
Fury is then expected to walk to the ring at 9.55pm UK time, with the fight expected to start around 15-20 minutes later.
What are the two boxers saying?
Fury (24-0, 18 knockout wins) labelled 39-year-old Klitschko “mutton dressed as lamb” adding: “He’s old. He looks pretty, he looks the part, but we know mutton isn’t lamb.
“You can taste the difference. We all know an old, 10-year-old sheep is not a nice young spring lamb in a field. That’s what Wlad is. He looks OK on the surface but deep down he is an old, veteran fighter.”
Klitschko, for his part, rates Fury as his biggest challenge since he fought David Haye, despite Fury’s fellow Briton whimpering to a lop-sided defeat when they met in 2011.
“I would say so,” said the Ukrainian (64-3, 53 knockout wins). “I had some challenging fights before that and then again with Haye.
“There is a lot of noise, there is a lot of tension and pressure (against these fighters). But pressure is actually a positive thing, you perform better under pressure.”
Who is the bookies favourite?
