Aberdeen Grammar are through to the third round of the National Cup after their scheduled opponents for tomorrow withdrew from the competition.
National 1 side Grammar were due to host Greenock Wanderers at Rubislaw but the National 3 side has forfeited the tie.
Grammar coach Ali O’Connor said: “Greenock called off this week which is frustrating as we were going to field a development side.
“With all due respect to Greenock, we felt this weekend was a chance to give some of the guys coming through the ranks a chance to show what they can do but clearly that won’t be happening now.
“The one good thing I suppose is that our players won’t suffer any bumps and bruises.
“We had targeted this month as a chance to get in some extra gym sessions due to the internationals and, with Saturday’s game cancelled, we’ve arranged an extra session for the players so they’ll be working hard even if we don’t have a game.”
