With little over three weeks to go, the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival’s secret guest has been revealed as Scottish singer Gerry Cinnamon.
The up and coming young star sold out his four night stint in Glasgow to over 10,000 people in just a mere three minutes, and is just off the back of playing to a capacity crowd at Glasgow’s TRNSMT festival.
Joe Gibbs, Belladrum promoter, said: “The cat is out of the bag, we are delighted to be welcoming the force of nature that is Gerry Cinnamon to Belladrum for the first time. The buzz and excitement around Gerry right now is incredible and this is set to be one of those must-see moments.”
The unsigned artist will join other high profile Scottish acts Primal Scream and Amy MacDonald in performing at the 14th edition of the Highland festival.
The festival officially gets underway with a charity shinty match hosted by Kiltarlity based Lovat Shinty Club on Wednesday August 1 from 6pm, with a bespoke Bella cup up for grabs for the winning team.
