Savio Genini will be presented with the Mowi Premiership trophy after Kingussie’s final fixture against Lovat at Kiltarlity on Saturday.
Manager John Gibson credits Savio’s leadership as a key factor in their Grand Slam achievement.
“Savio’s been a fantastic skipper, on and off the pitch,” said Gibson.
“He’s really stepped up in a demanding season and deserves to have led the club to all four major trophies and the first Grand Slam in 19 years.”
Gamekeeper Savio, the 25-year-old son of former Kings player Martin Genini and the nephew of club legend Michael Clark, hopes for a winning finale for the Red and Blues.
Kingussie are at full strength and Gibson stressed: “It’ll be great to collect the trophy but we also want the full points.
”When we won the 2019 Premiership we lost 1-0 at Kyles on the day of the trophy presentation so we’d like to avoid a repeat scenario and finish on a high note.
“Our players have been training and playing since the first week in January and after ten months’ outstanding commitment, they deserve a break to relax and contemplate being part of a historic team.”
Lovat boss Jamie Matheson has several players unavailable as the Balgate Park team, who put up an impressive fight against Kingussie in September’s Camanachd Cup final, bid to become the only team other than Kinlochshiel to defeat ‘Gibson’s grenadiers’ in any competition this year.
A Lovat win would see them leapfrog Oban Camanachd to finish in fourth place.
The Tighnabruaich pitch is waterlogged and the remaining Mowi Premiership fixture between Kyles Athletic and Glasgow Mid Argyll has been switched to Dunoon Stadium.
It is a farewell match for Kyles manager Robert Baxter, who is stepping down for work and family reasons.
After taking five points from their last three games, Mid Argyll are in seventh spot, a point ahead of Athletic, who will be without key men Robbie Macleod and Conor Kennedy, who are unavailable.
Baxter is calling up several of Kyles’ second team players as they try to avenge their Celtic Society Cup Final defeat.
The visitors’ ex-Kinlochshiel player Johnny MacAskill completes a three-game suspension so will start next season with a clean sheet.
South First Division champions Col Glen are automatically promoted to the National Division as even a heavy defeat at home to second bottom Lovat will not prevent Newtonmore colts wrapping up the North First Division title.
Challengers Inverness, two points behind, finish against Fort William colts at Bught Park, but Newtonmore’s massive 41-goal lead on goal difference will ensure they add the league trophy to the Sutherland Cup.
