The public will get the chance to have their say on Aberdeen City Council’s proposals to rezone the catchment areas of three schools.
Two public meetings will be held to discuss the Hanover Street School, former Victoria Road School, Tullos School and Walker Road School.
The first event will take place at Torry Academy, Tullos Circle, Aberdeen, from 7pm to 8.30pm on Monday, May 19, and will be about the proposal to remove dual zoning of the former Victoria Road School and define the catchment area of Tullos and Walker Road Schools.
Written submissions can be made by emailing schoolestate@aberdeencity.gov.uk or writing to Education, Culture and Sport, Aberdeen City Council, Business Hub 13, Second Floor North, Marischal College, AB10 1AB and must be received by 5pm on Wednesday June 18.
The second meeting will discuss the possible rezoning of the Hanover Street School catchment area from St Machar Academy to Harlaw Academy.
The meeting will be held from 7pm until 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 20, at Hanover Street School, Beach Boulevard, Aberdeen.
Copies of the consultation documents are available to view at various schools and community centres and the authority’s website at www.aberdeencity.gov.uk.
