Police are investigating an assault which occurred in Aberdeen earlier today.
The incident took place on Seaton Walk , just off King Street.
Police were called to the area at 5.40am today after receiving a report about an injured man.
The man, who is aged in his twenties, was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Police have temporarily restricted access to flats on the street while they carry out their enquiries.
Constable Jordan Blyth, of the Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction Unit, said:
“Our enquiries into how the man came to be injured are ongoing and if anyone has any information or heard anything in the Seaton Walk area this morning I would ask that they contact Police Scotland with details on 101 quoting reference 0428 of 21 August. “
