Four football fans from Aberdeen have been enjoying World Cup fame following England’s unsuccessful clash with Uruguay last night.
The men were picked up by cameras behind the Sao Paolo stadium’s goals during the South American team’s 2-1 victory over Roy Hogson’s men.
Brothers Michael and Scott Anderson, Lewis McAra and Kenny Macgregor – all from Aberdeen – dressed in Scotland tops, and stood out among the sea of light blue of the Uruguay fans.
One of the group can be seen wearing an “aye aye Jimmy” cap in the footage.
Mr McAra posted this photo of he and his pals at the game online
They stood just metres from a celebrating Luis Suarez, who scored both of Uruguay’s goals, and posted photos of the Liverpool striker online.
Another Scotland fan from Glasgow caused an online stir when he was caught celebrating with a saltire in the crowd following Uruguay’s victory.
