A 30-year-old man was wounded in Ash-Hill Place just before 7pm last night. A police spokeswoman said the man had suffered stab wounds but that he had not been struck with a knife. The spokeswoman said she could not discuss the weapon used. It is understood that the wounded man suffered only minor injuries. A 32-year-old man is helping police with their inquiries. A spokeswoman confirmed: “A 32-year-old male has been detained and is assisting the police with their inquiries.”
