The SSPCA has had a busy time of it lately and now they need your help.
The charity issued an emergency appeal via their Facebook page for spare towels and blankets.
The statement read: “Our Drumoak centre is running low on towels and blankets at the moment as they are so busy!
“We are asking animal lovers in Aberdeenshire to donate their old towels and blankets as we are using lots in our cattery, kennels and small animals section.
“New or used blankets and towels which are clean and in good condition would be a great help to us and we’ll certainly put them to good use!
“Unfortunately we can’t accept duvets or pillows as the insides can be harmful to the animals if they tear and eat them.”
You can hand in donations to our Drumoak centre in Banchory, AB31 5AJ, between 10am and 4pm any day of the week! smile emoticon
