Rangers interim manager Graeme Murty has left his role at the club.
Murty has been in charge of the first team since Pedro Caixinha’s dismissal in October but his tenure has ended this morning.
The former Reading defender, who was a youth team coach at the Gers, has been relieved of his duties following Sunday’s 5-0 defeat at Celtic, the defeat following a 4-0 defeat in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Rangers remain in talks with former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard about the vacant managerial post but former Gers player and ex-Aberdeen assistant manager Jimmy Nicholl is expected to take charge of first team affairs for Saturday’s game against Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
